Saint Andrew's Elementary School Program
Students in these grades learn about their community, the early history of the United States, Maryland history, the environment, solar system, weather, and the human body. Students continue to hone their skills in their studies of religion, music, art, Spanish, computer, and physical education.
Skills from preschool are essential in the school's full-day kindergarten program. Each small class, with a teacher and a teacher assistant, concentrates on a program of language arts, reading, math, science, and social studies. All students also receive instruction in religion, music, art, Spanish, computer, and physical education.
First Through Fourth Grades
Children continue to grow and mature in a challenging and secure environment. Through hands-on, experiential learning students learn to work together cooperatively and develop into independent thinkers as they master more complex skills. Instruction in language arts, spelling, math, science, and social studies provide the children many opportunities to develop their reading comprehension, writing, and math skills.
